After-school Programs

Wall Rats
Walls Rats is an excellent program for those looking to build trust and confidence and improve self esteem. It provides a full body workout and delivers extreme fun with an opportunity to meet new friends. The program teaches climbing technique, safety, proper belaying skills, harnessing, knots, and rope care. There are six levels of accomplishment in the Wall Rats program. Each level lasts for six weeks, with classes running for two hours one night a week.
Each session begins in the Wall Rats Clubhouse, where they harness up and the instructor goes over what they've been learning and what's in store for that day's lesson. Then the class heads up to the gym where the remainder of the session is held.
At the final session for each level a certificate highlighting each students' skill level is given, and the occasion is celebrated with a pizza party and fun climb.
Course cost: $99.95 plus GST per six week session
